About Us

The Agabus Foundation is a faith-based Christian humanitarian organization that seeks to serve vulnerable people and communities with compassion, dignity, and hope. We are inspired by the story of the biblical Prophet Agabus who, by God’s revelation, informed the early church of a coming famine. By acting on this information, the early church was able to help those in need. In the same way, we want to be that kind of organization, acting in faith and looking ahead to bless the most vulnerable in our society with practical help and support. We are also inspired by the great commission in the book of Matthew, chapter 28 and want to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to the communities we serve.

We believe that every person is made in the image of God and, as such, is worthy of His love and care. We believe that God can and does transform lives and communities and, as a Christian organization, we are called to share that love, care and transformation with those we serve. We work to give spiritual, emotional and material support to those who are vulnerable, marginalized, and often, ignored. We do this in partnership with others, with our local communities, and through faith and trust in God.

Our Mission

We exist to demonstrate the unconditional love of Christ by coming alongside widows, widowers, orphans, and underprivileged students, meeting their spiritual, emotional, and material needs, and helping them to feel valued, cared for and empowered. In all of our programs and projects, we endeavor to create opportunities for healing, restoration and growth. Whether that means providing educational resources to underprivileged students, offering a listening ear and emotional support to grieving widows and widowers, or meeting the material needs of orphans, we are committed to being the hands and feet of Christ in a world that so desperately needs His love

Our Vision

We envision a world where every vulnerable person is known, lifted up, and blessed with dignity, care, and support through the love of Christ.
We dream of communities where no one is left behind, and every individual, regardless of their background or circumstances, has the opportunity to thrive and live a life of hope and purpose.
We long for a future where the love of Christ is made manifest in every act of kindness, where the lonely are comforted, orphans are nurtured and empowered, and underprivileged students are given the tools they need to succeed.
By living out God’s kingdom culture of love, compassion, and action, we aim to build a world that reflects Him—a world where His love is known by all and His grace transforms lives.
